I also notice that the only place where the auto-correct does not work is in the address bar of the browser. This issue appears only while using the pen so if I am typing with the keyboard the problem disappears. While typing this discussion the autocorrect was active although in the typing settings of windows it is deactivated. I found out later that not only this issue is on word and outlook, it is also on edge and other applications such as firefox. They proposed to me to post the issue here. I contacted Microsoft Office support and they tried to take over my screen and some settings change in the windows and the Office applications concerning the auto-correction but the problem was not solved.
This issue is frustrating so I went to Microsoft word and turn out to have the same issue. The word was automatically replaced by a similar word from the English dictionary. I noticed this issue when I was writing a mail-in outlook and wanted to write a family name that is not a word in the dictionary. I am facing this issue when using the pen to write on my touch screen PC.
